I Must Be Lucky...

Post by Treesap » Thu Jul 12, 2007 2:06 pm

I keep reading about issues people are having with their DMEs. I don't have that problem. It seems the people where I got my machine from want to flip over backwards to help me. And they have with all the masks I've tried. I'm sure they want to get my insurance money; but if they treat me well, let them have it!

I know they aren't cheap. It was just who I was referred to after I left the doctor's office. I will probably buy all my masks and machine parts myself to save money unless the insurance covers them 100%. I'm not sure on that yet.

Treesap,

It is very nice to hear a good report about a DME. It would be easy to conclude they are all no good based on the bulk of comments posted

In my own case I never got to deal with a regular DME - bought my 1st machine from cpap.com & via cpaptalk got the best access to SA info I have ever come across.

I suspect that RestedGal and the many other helpers here have provided more help to more folks in more countries than any one DME or chain of DMEs would ever be capable of.

DSM

xPAP and Quattro std mask (plus a pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap)

I'm sure you are right about the resources available here at this forum. I wish I would have found it a few weeks earlier.
