My neighbor wants to sell her

RESPIRONICS Remstar LS CPAP System . It has a lot of hours, but still works well.
Anyone interested can drop me an email. I will wait a couple of days before putting it on ebay.

I just want to go back to sleep!

Ebay might yank your auction -- they usually do. But if you put info in your listing for people to contact you right away if they are interested, then you might find a buyer before Ebay yanks it.

Why do they yank them? I am fairly eBay literate... are you not allowed to sell CPAP machines? What about masks, hoses, etc.?

Dawn

Uh, Dawn, cpap machines are prescription products. Forbidden to buy and sell them on Ebay.

There are ways around the Ebay police.

Cheers,
B.

Ah well that makes sense. I guess I was thinking once you had a prescription who cares if you buy a machine yourself off ebay, but you are right.

It'd be nice if there was somewhere you could sell your used machines which was ok. I hate to think of them stacking up in the closet when people are so desperate to get one.

For some reason, Ebay will yank certain sleep apnea products. Masks seem to be okay, as are chin straps, etc.

But I tried to sell a new hose and ebay kept yanking it. I tried different wording, different categories, and they yanked it it 3 times. .

So, if you know a way "around" ebay, I would sure appreciate knowing it. I've bought and sold about 1000 ebay items, so I'm not exactly ebay illiterate. But they sure had my number on that hose. Go figure.

I don't know if it would make a difference Linda, but the CPAP hoses I usually see on ebay tend to refer to "tubing" rather than hose. Is it possible that would make a difference?

Tubing was one of the terms I used in one of my revisions. It was still yanked.

Maybe Ebay knows how "deadly" tubing can be. . Still shaking my head.
