I use the UMFF. I like it, but for a few minor problems. The sides of my nose feel bruised. I can deal with that I think. But my lips are soooooo chapped from all the airflow. I use the heated humidifier at almost the hightest level (sometimes at the highest). Any lip balms on the market that are good and least likely to cause issues with the mask should they touch it?
If the bruising around my nose doesnt get better I may be asking about that next. lol
Chapped lips...ffm
I just use plain old chapstick. I have also used it in place of Ayr gel on my nares(VERY thin coat). Works just fine. For badly chapped lips you can use Aquaphor healing ointment. If I put it on at night the chapped lips are gone in the am. You can get it at most pharmacies.

I use Blistex Complete Moisture, it comes in a blue tube that's sort of shiny. It's very plain and doesn't taste very good (not bad, but it's not fruit-flavored or whatever), but it works better than anything I've ever found (and I've been obsessed with lip gloss since I was a small child), so I keep going back to it.
I don't put it on when it might touch the mask; I put it on when I wake up and again a couple times throughout the day, but make sure I wash it off when I wash my face to put the mask on.
In fact, it's so good that using it for a day or two will keep my lips moist for up to a week!
Yeah, I have to admit that was a side effect I wasn't expecting when I switched to a FF mask, and I'm a little worried how it will be next winter when my lips are usually chapped anyway!

i have the same mask.
I use some herbal chapstick every night and no more problems.
also i try to breath through my nose if i can.
i have to take a break at least twice a week from wearing the mask to give my face a rest because i get pains from it too. Over all though compared to the other masks I have its the best one for me.

Thanks guys. Figured out my second problem. It wasnt bruising. The mask sitting where it does helped cause a MASSIVE zit on the side of my nose. The worst part is that I dont want to put anything on it overnight....and it now hurts pretty bad to wear my mask. lol. Never thought about that a possible CPAP side effect. Plus I look like I am 16 all over again.
