leak or no leak? Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask
I used that mask, and its the only one I've used since I'm only about 5 weeks into treatment.
There are some holes in the mask on the top front that are specifically designed to allow extra air out.
But if the air is coming out into your eyes from the top nose bridge it is not fitting well. It happens to me sometimes. Seems to be a battle between making the straps tight enough for a good seal, and loose enough for relative comfort. You may need to tighten the top band. Also make sure that the part that rests against your head is straight. There is a little plastic button on the front of the mask above the nose that allows a little bracket to rotate when pushed in. Make sure the bracket is straight vertical, not bent. I have no idea what that would be useful for, but it pushes the top of the mask away from your face. If adjusting the straps don't work, go back to your provider for help. Could be the mask is not the best size for you. Getting air blown into your eyes not only reduces the effectiveness of the mask, but dries out your eyes and is a real pain!

Re: leak or no leak? Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask
Yes, it's normal if it's coming out of the exhaust vent as depicted in the following link. That's what removes excess CO2 from your mask.cuibel wrote:Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask

If it's leaking elsewhere (like around the seals), that's not "normal". The UMFF is a good mask if sized and adjusted properly.
