Anniversary

Post by OwlCreekObserver » Fri May 25, 2007 9:31 am

On this date (May 25th):

-- Star Wars opened in theaters (1977)
-- The Constitutional Convention began (1787)
-- The Charlotte Motor Speedway held its first race (1985)
-- President Lincoln suspended the writ of habeas corpus during the Civil War (1861)
-- Jay Leno's first Tonight Show was broadcast on NBC (1992)

AND . . .

** I spent my first night on CPAP therapy (2006) **

Star Wars was by far the most enjoyable, though my nightly Darth Vader impression was probably the most beneficial.

OCO

Congratulations, OCO!

Keep doing those Darth Vader impressions. Your avatar looks like you might need a new mask soon.

Congratulations OCO! May you have many, many more anniversaries.

I do hope you don't have to wear that outfit (avatar) every night, though!

Congratulations!

(I see your avatar has one of those fabric masks that are becoming all the rage now! An early adopter, no doubt.)

Indeed.

For those of us still measuring our assimilation in weeks, it's heartening to see folks sticking with it and making it work. Here's to many more sleepful nights!

Congratulations! It's amazing that after a while you can't remember life before xpap (well, maybe that's a slight exaggeration).
