Introduction

Post by robbieh » Tue May 15, 2007 7:35 am

Howdy all. I am a total newbie to the cpap, last night being my first experience of trying to sleep with something clamped on my face. I woke up a lot but it is 6:30 am and I am up, really awake and typing! Its a miracle!

I found this site last night and enjoyed talking to several people in the chat rooms. There is a lot of excellent information that answered my questions before I knew I had them. I so appreciate all of you being here. I am not alone or too much of a freak... my roommate thought I needed an aviator scarf to top off my sleeping ensemble ha!

I'm off to shower and get to work so I can shock my co-workers by arriving on time and with my eyes open! I think life can be very good again.

Welcome, Robbie!

I've been on the hose for 2 months now, and love to welcome the newbies! A thread I recently read said that no matter how strange your situation or question seems, someone on this forum has probably had it too! Good luck with your therapy, and your journey on the 'road less travelled'.

Take care,
Cathy

How wonderful that you were able to have a great sleep night your first night on CPAP. Lucky! It took me a week or so before I could adjust but I'm so glad it's working now. I've been on CPAP almost 9 months and life is good!
