Excessive "Gas"???

Post by lpady » Mon Apr 30, 2007 11:06 am

Can CPAP cause excessive gas . There have been a couple days in the last week where I was dyin' of gas pains. Could this have been caused by excessive air being swallowed? I tried a GasX tab the other day but didn't help much

Linda

On the bright side, it keeps people from bothering me at my cubicle

Tip for campers: Perfect to fuel your Coleman stove and lantern. At night, use it to run a generator to power the CPAP.

Newbie here, I can relate. Last night I raised my pressure range. Better AHI, but much worse GII (gastrointestinal index). Ouch!

I know there are some yoga exercises to expel gas. Time to look them up. First the neti pot, now this. Can't be too squeamish about bodily functions around here.

Yup yup.

Search for "aerophagia" and you'll find a wealth of info.
