Hi all. Based upon the generally positive reviews, I have just acquired from CPAP.com a Twilight NP. I received it Friday and used it for the first time last night. I found it very comfortable and it seemed to stay sealed very well (I haven't yet attached a pantyhose stabilizer, but will likely do so in the next couple of days -- although based on last nights' use, it may not be necessary). I run my APAP at 9.5 - 12.5, so not a terribly high pressure. I found the mask a bit noisy. It is very quiet when I exhale, but when inhaling there is an air whoosing noise. So it goes quiet, whoosh, quiet, whoosh, etc. My wife mentioned it this morning as well. Is that just the way it is, or is it possible to do anything to quiet it down? My usual mask of late has been the CL2, which is much quieter, but the pillows on the Twilight seemed much more comfortable and provided me with a robust seal.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

The sound you describe with the Twilight NP (Aura) is just the way it is. A shuuuush sound every time one inhales. There's no way I know of to quieten that. I was used to hearing that same inhale sound with the Breeze before I switched to the Twilight NP. The CL2 does it too, but not quite as much so.
Seems to be typical of most nasal pillows interfaces to make more sound (some more than others) when inhaling. My autopap uses the same pressures yours does.
Most of the year I run a fan in my bedroom. The steady sound of a fan helps mask (no pun intended! lol ) the mask sounds.
