Remstar Auto M- Series Data Questions
Remstar Auto M- Series Data Questions
Hours/Night - Does this could total time? I stop the machine when I get up during the night. Does starting and stopping make a difference or will it count the total on time for the nightly numbers?
Ramp Time - Is this counted in the 90% pressure or the total time of usage for the night?
Sessions - How counted? If you start and stop the machine during the night will the 4 hour session time start over? Is that 4 continuous hours or a total of four hours?

Is there an answer to this question other than getting the card reader and software? I have the same concern. The statistics you get when you scroll the display don't seem to make sense, and I'm not sure if I'm just not reading them correctly or the machine is malfunctioning. For example, I've had my M Series for just a little over two weeks, and have used it every night for a minimum of 7 hours. One morning the "average" will show under 4 hours, the next morning it might show over 7 hours. I've looked around for an answer to this and haven't been able to come up with a good one.
Answer
I have a Mac and the software will do me no good. I would still like an answer please.
According to your profile, you have the "Plus" model. It won't give any information other than hours slept....."compliance hours".PhotoDude wrote:Is there an answer to this question other than getting the card reader and software? You would need either the Pro or the Auto models to get detailed statistics.

According to my profile I do not have the plus model. I have the auto m-series model. I can't run any windows applications, no way no how. I do not have an intel based MAC. I have added that to my profile.
I guess I will have to call CPAP.com to get the answers.

I am a Mac user, non intel, and can't use the software. I do log the daily statistics.
I doubt if CPAP.com or any others can answer you question on how the machine plays with the numbers. The screen gives (some) useful data, but compaired to the software it's usefullness is poor.
Surely someone you know has a P.C. for windows, the world runs of them. I've thrown two away this year, that could have been made to use the software. I stopped using the Commodore 128's too, put them in the trash, they were great but if they can't do real world work, out back they belong. BTW the retail cost of the Commodores I junked was $3,000, take a bath time. Jim

If you were addressing my post, I was making that response to PhotoDude.ABC wrote:According to my profile I do not have the plus model. I have the auto m-series model. I can't run any windows applications, no way no how. I do not have an intel based MAC. I have added that to my profile.
