(unless you're a Pro and are in it for the money)
Definitely not a pro or in it for the money. I have dropped well over 50 grand in the last 10 years on golf.....but what's money for, if not to spend it....you can't take it with you.

I found other "toys" er, I mean "investments" to spend it on.

One company proivides the Software, (Resperonics), another makes the Reader (Infineer) DT-3500.

The best price on the reader is 2Factors, $31.40 Del.

CPAP.COM, sells the software standalone. Jim

That's very high if it's for the software only; even if it's for software plus card reader, still a little steep. Current price for the software alone, if ordered through one Australian supplier, is a little under $93 U.S. Add a little for shipping and a little for currency exchange (done automatically via VISA and, likely, other cards.) Card reader, if you don't already have one, will cost ~$70 U.S. plus shipping for the ResMed brand with the alignment strips in place, or $29 U.S. plus shipping for one you have to make alignment strips for. Jim... The best I have found is approximately 90 dollars for each plus shipping from overseas. That card reader you posted would be considerably cheaper, but I am not sure what you mean by alignment strips.

Do you have the ResLink attachment?

If not you would have to connect your Spirit directly to your computer.

Do you have a Smart Media card reader?

If not you can use camera (which uses the S/M card) to download into your pc. (I have downloaded sleep data from my AutoSet Advantage using a Nikon D70.)

With the ResLink you can add the Nonin Model 3012 OxiMeter and track your saturated oxygen level along with your pressure and events.

As far as I know , the Respironics software and the Infineer DT3500 card reader would not work with the ResMed system.

.....software or no software????

It's a personal decision. Only you can weigh the pros and cons for your situation.

That's correct, but that type was needed by oceanpearl wrote:

Page 2 of this thread - viewtopic.php?t=8461&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15
- shows a simple method for aligning the card.

If you're not up for that, http://thecpapshop.com/product_page.asp ... ctCatID=17 has the reader for ~$70 plus shipping.

Only 1 significant and 1 insignificant difference between the readers:
Significant: the ResMed brand has a plastic alignment guide built in, as the ResMed card is less wide than the reader slot without the guide.
Insignificant: the ResMed logo is missing from the generic ACR38.

Today I contacted a dealer in the US and he kindly gave a dealer here in Greece. I went to the sales department and I purchased the software . On top of the box it says

Devilbiss CPAP LT Software
Version 2.4.0.0
8054D

I wanted to ask if anyone knows the current software records data over night for the past 10 hour. That means I have to open my PC every morning and check/print my data. When the DME came to my house the previous month he printed for the whole month the data(AHI,exhale puffs,Apneas events. etc.)
Is there another software? What do you guys have?
Im confused Did he rip me off. And i pain 105 euros
