I like Den, always order order over $100 to get free shipping, that's smart.

Getting a Quote before buying is smart.

Ordering something after getting a quote, then whining about it being unfair, that you were charged what was quoted, is stupid and in poor taste, grow up and file it for future reference. Jim

I just ordered 12 grams of Arctic Silver 5, and had to pay $4.99 to ship it, am I happy no, but I am not going to cry foul. They got it and I need it, that's the way it works.

Last November 2006, I ordered one (1) Inlet Tube with Swivel Assembly for Mirage Activa and Vista CPAP Masks from cpap.com and the price then was about $15.00. Now it's price list shows its current cost of $39.95. I've tried to search other website (thecpapshop.com) and the price of this product is only $16.00 . . . You may check it out as you wish . . .

BTW Jeepster, Welcome to the forum! (I don't think anybody mentioned that yet. Maybe in an earlier of your 10 posts )

I have to agree with the majority of the responses though. If you knew what it was going to cost and placed the order, I don't think you have any credible complaint as long as you got the order in the timeframe stated and everything was included that you ordered.

"The company charges a lot for shipping and handling." might be fair, but I think "extortion" is a little over the top.

So EricF, if you don't like the cost of buying in the US perhspas you should purchase your supplies in Canada or from the french.

I missed the EricF - Jeepster connection, That explains a lot. All I can add Is don't let the Door hit you in the 4Wheels. Jim

I'm used to using my "Goofproof" everywhere, and I don't plan to drag it into the mud, and have to get a new one weekly. If you don't have anything to be ashamed of, you don't have to change your name.

Well, I'm here to tell you that just last week I shipped a little package to Canada, less than 1 lb and it was one big fat headache and cost $21. The paperwork was a PITA. But, I wanted it to get there so ...... I paid it. Either it is worth it to you to pay the costs or it isn't.

I worked for the US Postal Service, am retired from USPS, and I was AMAZED at how badly the Patriot Act, etc. since 9-11 has affected their service. A Registered Letter used to arrive faster than regular mail, NOW it takes almost FOREVER for anything Registered to travel thru the US Postal Service. And I'm talking in country service NOT being shipped out of the USA.
