Hey -
I've been on CPAP since November. I use the Swift Nasal Pillow mask. It worked great until about a month ago. Since then, I can't keep the right pillow tight to my face. It keeps popping out at night and waking me with the exhaust. I try tightening the top strap and then the back strap. Loosening one or the other - etc. When I've got it off, I notice a 'dip' between the two pillows. I wonder if they've stretched out - or caved in because they're too big or.................
Any ideas???

Swift Nasal Pillows Popping Out
Check and see what the replacment schedule is-they do get softer. Until then, though I'm not a "Swift user" I've been taping my Opus pillows in to keep them in place since I don't use the overhead hose management loop-it is working quite well.
Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving that there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof.....Galbraith's Law
Have you examined whether the choice of the three nasal pillows, is closest in size to your nostril shape, or have you been putting lubricant on the pillows when using, that might cause some slippage, another thing I have found in my case is the hose position, if its not in a position that moves the pillow block when you move , for sure it will pull until it breaks the air
seal or pops out of your nostril. I put the hose on my chest, my arm over it and let the slack hang to the floor, I use a 6 foot hose and my cpap is on my nite stand.
Hope some of this info can help you, keep me posted.

Swift Nasal Pillows Popping Out
I use the swift nasal cushions and I agree with the other poster --- get a replacement. They have, what I call, a blow-out about once a month. The latex gets stretched and gives out....you can't really tell....but get a replacement and you'll see a big difference!
Thanks everyone! I've got new insurance, so maybe I can get a replacement early. Then, I can use flex dollars to try an aura since I'm a side sleeper......
Also, is there a full face mask for side sleepers? I'm a mouth breather and have, so far, just taped my mouth shut. I thought maybe it would be good to try a full mask??
