CPAP Pro from nomask.com, anyone use it?

Post by breathlessRT » Fri Mar 09, 2007 7:31 pm

I received my CPAP machine yesterday and used it last night. I spent the typical first night wrestling with adjustments etc. but managed to keep in on about 7.5 hrs. My main problem is enlarged turbinates and underlying sinus problems of long standing. I really do not want to use a FF mask so I am motivated but it is tough as it just seems like not enough air will come through my nose at times.

I am interested in the pillow type masks and have read some comments here. I was wondering if anyone had used the CPAP Pro available on nomask.com.? In theory it seems like a good idea but I hesitate to buy one just to try as they are pretty pricy. Anyone here have any experience with this system?

Thanks,
Don

I think we should just have a sticky.

This question gets asked pretty regularly. Do a search for "cpappro" without the quotes.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be redundant. I searched it several different ways but not as all one word. I shall check out the threads. Thank you.

Peace,
Don

Yeah, no worries. I just think we should have a sticky so we can save everyone the time.

CPAP Pro mouthpiece mask

I've been using the CPAP Pro for about 4 years and I haven't found anything as good in 10+ years on CPAP.

When it first came out my Dr. & DME would not endorse it nor would my insurance pay for it. I paid for it with my own money just hoping for relief from sores and strap marks. For some of you newbies you have been blessed with a vast array of masks & pillows to choose from.
I just completed my 6th Sleep Study this week and the 2 technicians were really interested in my CPAP Pro (Mine was the 1st that they had actually held) and were interested how it would perform. In the morning the technician said I flopped around a few times and it never showed any leakage and was impressed with its simplicity.

It is on the expensive side, but it does work.
