having problems with exhale Need help !

Post by lynne » Thu Mar 08, 2007 6:43 pm

I've been on cpap for about three weeks things were going ok till recently having problems exhaleing therapy starts out good then gets worse during the nite. It feels as if the soft plate is touching and not letting the out. I have tried straight c pap a pap auto pressure 10cm to14cm and every setting setting imaginable. I have c flex on and off seems to be worse with lower pressure and cflex if anyone has had any problems of this nature and can't help it will be greatly appreciated. I have a appointment with a specialist next week just trying to make it till then

Hi Lynne,

Can you post what your equipment is? What C-flex levels have you tried? Are you using a ramp feature?

More info would be helpful.

Ciao,
Greg

I feel like I should have a canned response to this sort of concern.

Have you tried having C-FLEX fully off (not just turned down to 1, but turned fully off) and, if so, for how many nights. How did you feel with it off?
