Are RDI and AHI the same?

I finally got a copy of my sleep report. Nowhere in it is AHI mentioned, just RDI of 14. I was able to figure out the rest of the entries.

Not quite:

RDI = Respiratory Disturbance Index - includes all respiratory events per hour.
AHI = Apnea Hypopnea Index - the number of apneas and hypopneas per hour.

It just depends on the sleep center whether a flow limitation is a "respiratory event" or not, or even what a Hypopnea is and if it needs to involve a desaturation (drop in oxygen level in the blood) to count.

If you post the full results from your study, the non-doctor experts here can analyze it much more thoroughly.
