SQL wont run?

Hi, I have been running the Encore Pro and My Encore with no issues until now...it seems the SQl manager says its is stopped with the red box and it will not start up which in turn makes My Encore and Encore Pro says enter password or SQL does not exist etc. SQL shows in my system tray as OFF and I con not get it to turn green ON no matter what I do. Any help would be grealty appreciated.

Is the SQL Server running?

It's located in here:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Binn

It needs to be started before the Manager.

Hi,
Yes it says it is running in the windows task manager under processes....But it will not start up....It is located where you say it should be..can I reinstall it?

I'm sure you can. It shouldn't harm your existing database (but it probably wouldn't hurt to make a backup somewhere). If this stuff automatically starts up when you start up your computer, you'll probably want/have to terminate their processes before you can re-install. Do you recall anything else being installed or that has changed before it started acting up? Anti-virus?....other installs? If you ARE running an anti-virus program, they recommend that you disable it when you install all this stuff.

Personally, I don't have them in my "Startup". I have separate icons on my desktop and execute them in order when I'm going to download my card.
