CPAP Software

Post by dnelms » Tue Feb 20, 2007 10:48 am

I'm expecting my Remstar Pro Series 2 (w/C-Flex) tomorrow. I was able to go thru billmyinsurance.com and get everything with no problem. What I did not ask (more because of $$$) was does insurance cover the Encore software and reader? My guess is that is something that I will have to buy outright since it is not a medical necessity, but rather an add-on that just helps diagnose treatment.

Has anyone ever gotten their insurance to cover that?

Looking so forward to a new machine. I'm retiring a Remstar Choice that has worked flawlessly since 1993. Never had anything done to it.

Congratulations on getting a new machine!

I think I've only seen a couple of people who were able to able to get their insurance to pay for the Encore Pro.
Look at it as a minor expense in NOT having to fork out more money for future doctor's visits.

Best wishes,
