Nasal care while on CPAP

Post by jskinner » Mon Feb 19, 2007 9:14 pm

Just wondering what the 'norm' is with regards to nasal care while on cpap

PS I really wish the polling feature included the ability to use checkboxes. Its hard to make a poll that allows for multiple options to be selected without them

James, I checked non-drug because all I'm using now is SinuCleanse, Ayer Gel, and sometimes Aloe Mist Moisturizing Spray w/Aloe. However, in the past I have had to use decongestants and corticosteroids.

Nasal congestion is something I have suffered with in varying degrees for many years and it never completely goes away.

Regards,

Alisha

James,

As a rule I don't use anything at all. My doctor prescibed Atrovent in a nasal spray for the occasional time I have nasal congestion. I really hope you are better soon.

Brian
