Or maybe Offerocker can make an ANACONDA print for him.

Snoredog, I like how you're thinking! Hmmmm there IS a leather shop here, maybe 'embossed leather' would work? And add a rattler for the "extra added touch"? Nothing like a "hybrid snake", eh?

Linda, I'm going to have to look that one up...is that the one that doesn't go to sleep? You know you have to watch them thar snakes! The grasses are full of them - or is it the other way around

No, those are those BIG SUCKERS, that get about 20 feet long. Makes my copperheads and cottonmouths around my property look like midgets.

Well, then, I guess I'll hafta bring hip boots, eh? ...and wear Kevlar clothing; if they are 20 feet long, then they can jump up on me, huh?
Do you spend much time outside???????? Or maybe you feed them and keep them as security guards? And I thought chipmunks, squirrels, and those sloth-y things were bad!

Fortunately I don't have the "anacondas" on my property, but I do have the others. And yes, I do spend a lot of time outdoors. We live on a small river and I go down and fish off the banks. Unfortunately, that's also where my snakes take up residence. ...

I must say, my first year here wasn't much fun for a city girl. ...

Of course with any of thease fabrics you will still have to line them withe fleece to get the insulation factor, but I like it!!!

...it looks a little 'bloody' to me!!!

I DO like the snakeskin! Thanks for the references.

I bet that could be a big hit with the GUYS! Especially if I could find some rattlers to add on. Oh, the poor wives!

I'm wondering how far this topic will take us! I know there's a lot of ideas popping up out there.

How about some rabbit fur?

Ahhh. My personal favorites. And I have a sister into animal prints. She would love these. Ya, we're weird.

How wide was your fabric? Did you use velcro at the ends?

One of my favorite big dudes - Vietnam Vet, former Marine - can thread a needle BEHIND HIS BACK. Does it all the time as a "parlor trick" for me and his wife. Now that I'm nearly blind and can't thread a needle to save my life, I take my needles to him whenever I can.

GOOD ON YOU!!! BTW, I've taken up making tiny snugglies for the NAII side hoses. I can highly recommend buying a "tube turner" of some sort from your favorite fabric store. Makes the turning ever so much nicer on your hands.

Cheers,
Babs

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)
