Software Availability Question

Post by joeyv20 » Sat Feb 10, 2007 8:06 am

I am looking to purchase Autoscan software for my VpapIII. I searched online, using google and I have not been able to come up with any information regarding purchase. I really think after having been here for a couple of weeks and learning what I can about my xpap machinery, therapy, etc. that this software will be quite useful to me. I have really learned so much and am feeling much more on top of things! Thanks to all of you here and on the chat feature. I am hopeful that someone will once again be able to help me find my way and point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Joey

The AutoScan software can be purchased from barry@cpapdownunder.com.au - he ships to the US & his price is about $US100 incl shipping.

See http://www.cpapdownunder.com.au/

I have been using Autoscan ver 5.4 with a VPAP III S & a VPAP III S/T. The latest version is 5.7. This software produces very easy to read charts. There are only 2 that you really need worry about see examples at http://www.internetage.com/cpapdata/ - It is very easy to install & easy to download data from your machine (you do need a 'null modem' cable with 9-pin connectors at each end).

If your PC has diskette reader, there is a patch to stop AutoScan constantly accessing the diskette drive (it does this while checking to see if you have a Reslink module attached to your machine).

Good luck

DSM

Hope this helps

Brenda

Doug has since posted the patch mentioned above at http://www.internetage.com/cpapinfo/index.html - click on AutoScan Swre Patch, and follow instructions.
