Does the 2025-6 model of the AirSense 10 still keep flagging airplane mode?

On my five year old AS10 if airplane mode is turned on, you will frequently get a window asking confirmations that you still want it on. Do the latest AS10 models also do this frequent window, or when airplane is one there's no reminder?

The airplane mode reminder appears each time you start therapy in order to remind you that 1) the machine's humidifier is currently inoperable, and 2) the machine cannot send therapy data to your care provider.

Why is your forum username "Physician" when you are obviously not one? (Serious question.)

1. Yes, I know the reason, but I never want the data transmitted at any time so no reminder needed.

2. What makes you think I am not a physician?

3. Is your first name and/or last name actually Sleepzilla?

I've learned something new. I am surprised that the humidifier is linked to airplane mode.

What makes you think I am not a physician?
  1. The nature of the question you asked in this thread, and the fact that you knew already knew the obvious logical answer—which a physician would very much understand and support.
  2. Some of your posts in other threads, including some threads that you've started, where you've asked other very un-physician-like questions, such as here, and here, and here.
  3. Your forum profile clearly states your occupation as "I am not a physician."
Stuff like that, and now also the fact that you've clearly declined to actually answer my original simple question: Why is your forum username "Physician" when you are not one?

At the risk of stating the obvious, the question is pertinent because it applies to your assumed or implied knowledge and credibility in asking and answering questions here in this healthcare-related forum. That, and pretending to be a doctor when you aren't is generally considered to be bad form all around. This is clearly intentional on your part, as you've chosen "Doctor" as your username over on the other CPAP forum, where you've posted similarly.

I know Sleepzilla personally, and that is his surname. It comes from Old English slǣp (mud/mire) and the Biblical name Zillah, which is related to agriculture. Onomasticians think Sleepzilla originated as a surname for a farming family in a muddy area.

Does the AS 11 act differently from the AS 10?

Post by Physician » Wed May 20, 2026 7:29 pm

Does the AS11, when airplane mode is enabled, keep warning airplane mode is on? Or when turned on it stays on and has no flagging/warning?

Physician aka DocZilla. (and I know them both personally)

I guess the airlines think CPAP humidifiers might fog up the windows.

LOL, that, and they don't seem to approve of me pouring a couple of those tiny little airplane-sized bottles of vodka into my humidifier tank before drifting off to sleep on long-haul international flights. :D

Seriously though, this is the primary reason:
