Resmed Airsense Mini packaging

Post by pcal » Sun Dec 07, 2025 11:47 pm

I just received my ResMed AirSense Mini. Everything seems to be in order except...the packaging. Nothing is sealed.

No sticker on the outside box preventing it from being opened. No sealing on the inner liner containing the unit itself. I just popped everything open. And I could put it all back together as if I'd never opened it. I've purchased USB cables that were more securely packaged than this.

Is this normal? Thanks!

Who was the supplier? It's OK to name names.

You may have received a machine that was used by a patient or used by the supplier for demonstrations.

Go into the clinical menu - https://www.manualslib.com/manual/15606 ... =16#manual

Check the machine hours (Total usage hours– the total number of hours the AirMini has been operated) - https://www.manualslib.com/manual/15606 ... =20#manual

Thanks a lot for the reply.

It says 'Total Usage Hours: 0' in the app. I purchased it at cpap.com, whom I've found to be pretty solid.

I also watched a couple of unboxing videos and it looked to me like their units weren't sealed in any way, either. So maybe that is just how they are shipped?

It wouldn't bother me, but if it bothers you, call CPAP.com and ask them.
