CPAP trigger sensativity

Can anyone reccomend a CPAP machine with a very low exhale to inhale trigger?

I've tried the Very High setting on the Aircurve 10s but it's not sensative enough. I've read that it needs 2L/min to trigger - apparently my tranition from exhale to inhale is not sufficient to trigger this very low threshold.

I currently sleep on a remstar m series machine that seems to work differentky than newer machines. It triggers at the end of my exhale before I've even started to inhale. That very low trigger seems to have trained my brain to only inhale when the machine pushes. I've slept on this machine for ~15 years and cannot find a suitable replacement. I've tried five newer machines with no luck.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've tried the Resmed Aircurve S and ST, the Airsense 10 Auto, Resvent CPAP/APAP, Dreamstation 1 and Remstar BiPAP Pro (system one 650).

I have the same issue with all of these machines - I exhale and don't sufficiently trigger inhale. I wake up gasping for air.

I know you use an M Series, but do you currently have one of those machines that could be used for a one-night experiment?

It might be good if some of our experienced members could have a look at what is happening when you sleep with this machine. If you are in agreement:

1. Get a free account at SleepHQ.com

2. Upload the SD card to SHQ.

3. Post the link in this thread.

4. The link will have any personally identifying information redacted.

If you have used the 10S for a full night with the SD card inserted, members will be able to see the analysis. If you have not, you will need to sleep for one night with the SD card inserted.
