speech difficulties using CPAP

Post by mrg24718 » Sat Aug 30, 2025 3:39 am

I have been using CPAP for 6 months and for the last week I have been unable to speak properly, stuttering with broken sentences.
I also have suffered weakness. I went to A&E and am clear of any problems so it seemed to be a mystery.
I think it could be a side effect of using CPAP and my jaw is aching slightly although my speech is definitely improving
Has anyone else experienced this as a side effect of CPAP

The gimcrack in the CPAP contrivance has been known to cause oojamaflip. It should go away shortly.

I might choose to follow the accident and emergency visit with a call to my primary doc's office.
