Recommended air filter for ResMed 11 ?
I found my equipment provider is charging insurance $17 for 6 filters. I'm happy to get insurance to cover the masks and such but would rather buy filters in bulk myself than have insurance pay that price. Amazon has various options including 60 for $17.
What brand do you recommend or are all of the off-brand filters OK?

How often are you changing the filter? Six filters lasts me three years.
Now, if you are in a dusty environment, ...
No.

Every 2 weeks is what I was told to do. Before I was told that I used one for 6-8 weeks. It was gray.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 12:54 pm

I'm with Granny...I use common sense and change my filter when it's dirty. Of course your dealer told you to change them every 2 weeks...They charge $17. In the Airsense 10 manual Resmed says to change the filter every 6 months...sooner if necessary. I don't have an Airsense 11 manual.Rich Boston wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 1:32 pmEvery 2 weeks is what I was told to do. Before I was told that I used one for 6-8 weeks. I change filters about once a month.
I bought 60 packs on Amazon for about $17 for 60 packs for my Aircurve 10 ASV and my Wife's Airsense 11.
I don't remember the brand. Just look for the ones with 4+ stars and thousands of revues.
I only use Hypoallergenic filters.

I bought a 60 pack on Amazon ($12) a year or so ago and I change the filter once per month.
These are no longer available but here's what I got and they're exactly like the OEMs I had purchased previously.

Re: Recommended air filter for ResMed 11 ?
I live in dusty environment.
Use hypoallergenic ResMed filters for my AS10.
I have to change them about every two weeks, because they're gray by then.
Many years ago I had a bad experience with non-original hyopallergenic filters supplied by an otherwise reliable source from my first machine. The were too think, and my machine started wheezing.
The bottom line: Change as often as your environment makes it necessary. Have some originals on hand to compare to the generic you buy.
