any tips for someone who has goiter and thiroyd problems?

Post by baronluigi » Fri Jun 27, 2025 7:38 am

Hello there. I have been suffering from subclinical hypothiroidism for 3 years and last year I finally went hypo (my endo told to to stop taking the eutirox dosage of 25 that I usually take since 2022 and I ended up with a TSH with almost 10). And since then my days are basically a total disaster. And at night, at first I thought I used to sleep "fine" (when I was total hypothyroid) but I think that I ended up going to the hyperthiroid side (but not according to the labs, although my tsh went from 10 to 0.70 or less) and I started to suffer from constant anxiety and insomnia. In may I reduced the dosage and I improved but know I suffer from insomnia sometimes, due to maybe because my current dose is not enough and it gives me ai hunger.

I use a resmed autoset 10 and my sleep test from 2022 shows that I usually have more reras than apneas, although I am not able to see them in oscar because they don´t seem to trigger/the sleep problems I am currently having.

I took 0.5 ativan at night (i know is bad for apnea) and eutirox. Nothing more. But I also have a goiter with nodules that my sleep doctors believe could be the cause of my apnes/reras.

I am going to discuss a new dosage with my endo next week.

What I wanted to ask is...is there anyother user here with thyroid problems, to can be advices of how deal with this?

Thanks!
