Date and time on aircurve 10 incorrect

Post by mets123 » Sun Nov 10, 2024 11:47 am

I just looked at the clinical menu on my aircurve 10 and the date and year are incorrect. Is there a way to fix this problem without erasing all the data?

To fix it will you need to go forward or backward with the clock/calendar change????
You can go forward easily but going backwards could be problematic depending on just how much backwards you need to go.

The machine won't let you go backwards if there is data already within the time frame without erasing things.
Going forward doesn't require anything special.

You have to manually change the clock and calendar.

The AirSense 10 models have a calendar and clock that you can change.
You just have to go to the clock/calendar and make the changes manually.
Do you not know where the clock is????

The AirSense 11 models do NOT have such a calendar or clock.

Yes Pugsy, when I go to clinical menu it won’t allow me to change the date . Somehow it is set to November 11, 2025 and won’t let me reset the date or year back.

Yep....that happens when you try to go back in time/date. It won't let you because you already have data written on the machine for when you are wanting to go back to.

There is no way to go around it when you are wanting to go backwards in time or date, and the machine won't let you, except erasing everything and then resetting the calendar and clock.

It's not going to let you go back without erasing all that past data......there are no other workarounds for your problem.

Like I said above....going forward is easy but going backwards is a problem.
If it was just one or two days we could maybe work around by not using the machine for a few days (use a spare machine instead) but if the calendar is already in 2025 unless you want to use a spare machine until you are past that date and time in 2025 in the future.

The machine simply will not let you set the clock or date when there is already some data with that data and time stored within your machine.

How long has the error with wrong date been going on?

I did that error a few years ago. I was changing the clock due to Daylight Savings time change and I accidentally changed the calendar as well but I only moved it one day forward and not one year. I had all my data stored in my computer so I just went ahead and erased everything and reset it (making very sure I was correct) and ever since then I don't mess with changing the clock on the machine when daylight savings time kicks in or ends.

Not sure how long it’s been, just noticed it’s way off. When you erased all the data and you imported new cpap data did Oscar have the correct date displayed? Did you have to make a new profile? I also assume you formatted the SD card? I think the problem occurred when I changed the clock last week.

No, I have never had to or done any reformatting of any SD card. If you stick the SD card in the machine and the machine wants or needs it reformatted then the machine will do it.

Yes, OSCAR showed the correct date and time. I don't remember if I used the same profile or not.
Mine was only one day off in the calendar though...so not all that big of a deal.
