Water in the hose

Post by mgundy » Fri Oct 18, 2024 4:50 am

Hi,

I have a Resmed Aircurve V10 that I've used for 4 years now. I haven't touched the settings in years and it's been working flawlessly up until a few nights ago. Using a full mask and heated hose.

About 6 hours in I'll wake up and hear a gurgling or bubbling noise. Upon inspection I see that their is a fair bit of water in the hose and condensation on the inside of my mask. I'll switch to a spare hose, wipe off my mask and go back to bed.

I've dropped the humidity settings a few levels, currently at 4. I've also tried setting the humidity to auto. Hose temp is at 72 which should be right at room temperature, maybe a degree or too under. I'm still getting the same phenomenon.

Any ideas as to what's going on? I hope my Aircurve isn't dying...

Thanks for reading!

Why not try 74 tonight?

It's dated, but here is a wiki on rainout - wiki/index.php/Rainout

Thank you! 76 and the problem seems to have gone away.

It's so weird that this phenomenon started after 4 years of no changes...
