Auto-on is another setting, where the machine turns on in response to your breathing.
No need to reach over and press the button to turn the cpap on.
This is separate from the pressure adjustment.
I have the automatic shutdown of the device set for breathing and stopping. Another thing that bothers me is when I wake up at night, because the device maintains a pressure of 10 and does not want to go back to 7.

Because the algorithm has determined against dropping the pressure.

The algorithm decides at a certain point to turn my ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet into a ResMed Airsense 10 Elite :) In this case, all the advantage of AutoSet is lost. In fact, it's the only thing that's bothering me right now and keeping me up at night. I would like to ask the users, do you experience this phenomenon on philips or BMC machines where your machine hangs on high pressure and you need to reboot your CPAP device to reset the pressure?

Maybe 7 is too low.

Currently, I generally sleep on settings 6 and 9. Although 10 is recommended for me. I caught a new strain of coronavirus over a month ago and started having earplugs after sleeping. I had to sleep without CPAP for a month. During this time, I had two laser palate correction procedures. This is my fifth night with CPAP, after a forced break, I haven't applied more pressure yet, because I still feel a little blocked in one ear. I have almost reached my wonderful sleep, the only thing that bothers me is the pressure in the CPAP machine that does not go down and wakes me up. Tomorrow I will review my indicators in Oscar and FitBit.

You can't clean it. It's designed to be disposed of and replaced after 30 to 60 days of use. Water is NEVER supposed to be used on it. Water causes the foam to disintegrate prematurely and it was never designed for long term use (like the silicone cushions) anyway.

If you can't replace regularly you might consider using the silicone cushion model of this mask and not the foam cushion.
Silicone can easily be cleaned and will last a LOT longer before it needs replacing.

A mask liner might help extend the life of the cushion since it would soak up the oils from your skin and the mask liner can be easily removed and washed. I use Xylamelts when sleeping, and often drool during the night. The mask liner soaks up the drool and saves a lot of wear and tear on the mask cushion.

BTW folks...this in an old thread where we were talking about the AirFit mask...and not the AirTouch mask that the most recent post from OP is referring to.

Somewhere along the line the OP got hold of an AirTouch FFM and that is what the ugly picture is.

Thank you very much for your support! I am giving these masks to my father, he cannot buy new ones. Found a way to clean and disinfect. To do this, I used bleach (10% sodium hypochlorite), warm water, and dishwashing detergent. The main thing is not to squeeze or rub the foam, it loses its properties. I sleep every night with CPAP, only, unfortunately, I had to change the device to BMC, because Resmed did not heat the tube enough and my nose and ears were blocked from the cold air. Also, resmed hung on high pressure and woke me up.

Hello everyone, I am sharing my experience. It was not clear to me why the night with CPAP was so important to me. One night without CPAP and I feel like I didn't sleep that night. My father is on CPAP therapy, he does not feel such a difference in the morning and says that he does not care if he slept with or without the device. I was given a psychiatric diagnosis of bipolar disorder. That's when I realized why CPAP is so important to me, it helps me fight my bipolar disorder because it gives me healthier sleep. When I wake up in the morning, I don't even need to look at the display to know if I had a good night's sleep. I feel it myself.Perhaps this information will be useful to someone

I agree that this information might be useful, but this is a subject that warrants its own thread with its own subject.
I think you should copy and paste it to a thread with a more informative subject.
If you only keep it here, people with F30i masks - will look at what you wrote, but not necessarily those who might really benefit from what you've shared.

And congratulations on your great therapy.
