For the reason he gives. The sooner you do that, th sooner we can try to help.
I see no reasons. Maybe because English is not my mother tongue, maybe because I am tired. All I see is "this one is better, this one is crap." and both leave me feeling horrible in the morning. So I try to learn and understand why, what is happening.

We (all us forum members who help people) are very familiar with the ResMed brand machines.
So very familiar with the reports as well as how the algorithm works so we have a better understanding of what is needed and why.

We aren't familiar with the Lowenstein because it isn't commonly seen here in the USA....so we simply don't know that much about it. We can better help you when we are familiar with what is being used....like the ResMed.

Off hand I think your current settings on the Prisma simply aren't getting the job done.
You are running a really tight range in pressures and it looks like it's staying maxed out at the max pressure setting.
It wants to go higher but it can't because it's little hands are tied.

If you don't want to use the ResMed....use the Prisma but don't limit the max pressure.

Here’s what I had in mind:

Lowenstein's algorithm is not treating you properly.

It's increasing your pressure and you're (likely) responding with Central's and Hypopneas (that are likely Central in nature). Notice how the clusters of apneas are present when the machine is at higher pressures.

While you were using the ResMed, your Apnea was actually being treated pretty good. Not perfect, but pretty good.

Thank you for taking the time to look into this thread and answer. Lowenstein isn't common here either, apparently it's German, but the only other option was a dreamstation...

Thank you for explaining again.

You are trying to push on me that the resmed was "pretty good", I call it trash. Maybe the numbers look good. Same as the dr. "yeah your numbers are below 5, you're treated. Next." that resmed junk is worse than getting no sleep at all.

I suggest you quit being an idiot, but I don't think that's going to happen.

If you mean trying to understand the issue instead of blindly following the orders of random strangers on the internet, no, that's not going to change.

You came to our house asking for help. We didn't just show up unannounced at your house offering unsolicited advice.
Most people know that when they ask random strangers on the internet that you get what you are giving.

Then you shoot the messenger because you didn't like the message given by the house that YOU went to.

Scratching my head here as to exactly what you wished to do or are going to accomplish here and why you bother.

Thanks, Pugsy. I was floored by the idea that I was pushing anything on the OP or giving him orders. I still hope the OP will think carefully about DS's reasoning.

what the forum needs to see is data. that data can be more easily interpreted from the resmed machine, as it is more familiar to the forum.

once that data is seen, the forum can offer suggestions for improvement and explain why each piece of advice is being offered.

I hope you do come back and take the time to give us the data we need.

you can do this.

we can help.

and just by the way? no one here will ever tell you an ahi of 5 is good. we strive for an ahi of 2 or less, as long as it's actually improving your sleep quality.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
