Airsense 11 on screen message retrieval?

Post by thomzeyl » Sun Jun 23, 2024 10:25 am

My Airsense 11 quits during the night.I have to manually restart it. There is an on screen message, but it disappears before I can get the full face mask off and my glasses, which I need to read, on my face. Is there a place to go to, to retrieve what that message was?

I know of no such place.

If you have auto stop turned on, try turning it off. Does your power glitch sometimes? I run my machine through a computer UPS so it always has power. Good luck.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I'll re-jig my power supply, add a battery backup and surge protector, and turn off auto stop. Too bad there is no place a message goes to and stays till you erase it. Are you listening, Resmed?

   Remember ResMed's Golden Rule.....the DME and/or doctor is THEIR customer and that's who they want to please. It sure as hell isn't us the end users of the machines.

Actually there is probably a way to retrieve any list of error messages generated by the machine (at least there was in the past with other machines) but it involves special software which we don't have any access to.
A DME or repair center might be able to do it. I have no idea if the AirSense 11 model even generates any sort of list though.

You might call acbio.com and at least ask if it can be done. They work on ResMed machines.

Interesting, thanks. I'll email them and see what they say. Great tip.
