Cpap Hair

Post by N8bbb46@gmail.com » Wed Jun 19, 2024 7:53 am

When I use my cpap machine, I get a crease in my hair across my scalp from about ear to ear. How can I prevent this?

No one can give specific ideas since we have zero idea which mask you are using but in general you might look at either a mask that doesn't have headgear straps to mess with your hair (like the Eclipse that I use ...see link in my comments or consider adding strap pads (either store bought or DIY) which can diffuse the pressure on the scalp and lessen strap dents.
Padacheek.com is where I get strap pads since I don't do much DIY anymore.

Also, watch videos on fitting your mask.
Wearing the mask too tight is far more common than I'd like to think.

I've ordered silk bonnets for sleeping from Amazon. It solved the strap mark problem and keeps my hair looking it's best, no breakage from straps or moving around.
