Resmed Airsense 10 base bracket

Post by CharlieWW » Fri Jun 14, 2024 7:03 pm

I designed a base bracket for a Resmed AirSense 10 that can be screwed or double-side taped down to a surface. This securely holds the CPAP machine in place, preventing the machine from being able to be pulled around or knocked off the surface.

This is the ideal solution for a number of use cases:
- Active sleepers that are worried the hose will pull their expensive CPAP machine off the nightstand
- RV's / Campervans / Trailers or Yachts where you want to setup the CPAP and leave it securely in place while moving between camp spots or anchorages.
- Hospital or rest home settings where people are often moving around the bed or moving the bed/nightstands and risk damaging the CPAP machine.

I made it for my campervan and it works so well!

If anyone is interested in one for their machine let me know.

I'm selling them on Etsy for $40. I wanted to price it much less but have to cover shipping cost which are high from New Zealand where I'm based. Even so I still think it's a reasonable price to protect the expensive S10.

Have a look here if your interested: https://partsprint.etsy.com/listing/1747168797

Perhaps you could contract someone else in the US to print & ship at a lower cost. I know my son has done quite a bit of 3D printing, He seems to get filament pretty inexpensively here in the US too.

I would need to ask him if he were interested, though.

My son is really into that as a hobby,If somebody thought is useful he could probably design one. The filament is very inexpensive.

Or just publish the stl file…much of the 3d printing world is open source.

I agree but apparently they have chosen a different path. Many people do not have access to a 3D printer. I know my son upgraded to a 5 color one.

I do post a lot of stl files on free 3d model sites but for some things where I've put in a lot of time on design I sell the item as a finished product. Open source is great for the user but doesn't reward the creators for their hard work!

Thanks for the offer of your son making these in the states. I have been down that path before and it didn't work out as complicated orders and logistics.

Anyway, this isn't a 3d printing forum so very off topic! I hope some people here will find it a useful addition to there CPAP setup. It is great for my campervan setup, saves me having to keep putting the machine away every time we move to a new camping spot.
