Data.

Real hard data.

Not myair.
Will do! I have had a SD card in it for a while and have used Oscar to read the stats from it a couple of times (even though they don't mean much to me). I'll give it a go this weekend and just .. post the data in this forum? Anything in particular I should post, as I recall there being a TON of data that Oscar tells me. Thanks again to everyone for all your help with this stuff.

Admittedly I don’t Oscar, sorry. Maybe someone who does can say whether there’s an option to post a trends page?

I know with sleephq you can make a trends page with any time period you choose. This allows one to scroll over any given day and see what your pressures were.

For example here’s a month. https://sleephq.com/public/464049b0-7c1 ... fa9fe772eb Tap on any day date or field and see min med max pressures, time spent in bed, ahi etc.

If someone wants to give oscar instructions that’s an option too. Be aware of potential privacy issues with either and protect your ID (whatever name you use with oscar may post with your chart and with both you might not use your full/real name for privacy sake).

I should have joined this forum sooner (or pressed my Dr for more information before just trying to figure it out for the past 4 months).
That's OK. Your doctor doesn't have that info anyway.
Unless he has been sleeping successfully with CPAP for years, and tried many different mask and asked his patients how they had solved the problems they had run into, and listened carefully to their answers, andtried them....

Doctors are trained to diagnose and prescribe. They have no special knowledge about the ins and outs of living with the prescribed therapy. Sometimes, not even basic knowledge of that.

A diabetologist is not the person who teaches you how to use a CGM or an insulin pump
An orthopedist is not the person who coaches you for an ironman (he's not even the person put the cast on your broken leg, nor teaching you how to use crutches when going up and down stairs).
And an organic biochemist it not the professional you would necessarily turn to for great meal recipes.

Thank God for cpaptalk.
And thanks too to www.cpap.com, the forum's sponsors who have created this forum, and never put ads on it, and lets us recommend whoever we want.
Finding cpaptalk (in 2005, mind you) was the best thing that ever happened to me in the CPAP part of my life.

Hey! I have back pain every day when I wake up. And I changed the mattress, I got a special one but it didn't help at all. Is anyone else still struggling with back pain? I've been to the doctor, he didn't help me with anything. He gave me some ointments that didn't help me with anything.
