I have been using a facial mask successfully for about a year.
Face mask because of the “mouth breathing” effect with another type of mask, even with a tape on the mouth.
That said, even with a face mask, I continue to use a tape, otherwise, at the end of the night I have saliva which compromises the seal of my mask.
Furthermore, I seem to be winning the battle of the "tongue stuck to the palais of my mouth" in order to try to avoid putting a tape.
But it's at this moment that I have an unexplained phenomenon: at the end of the night, I have "bumps, bursts, shakes...", in the mask, especially when my tongue is stuck to the roof of my mouth, and it keeps me awake.
Unexplained phenomenom: "shakes, bumps, burts..." in my mask

Any chance your mask seal or straps are simply worn out?

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.
