Air fluctuation

Post by LMagee » Fri Dec 22, 2023 11:01 am

I cant figure out why my airsense 10 changes pressure on its own. My setting is 11 but I wake up having a hard time breathing because the machine changes my pressure to other pressures, this morning when I woke up it was at 14. Also, my heated tube doesn't seem warm at all and I have it at the highest setting as well as my humidifier reservoir. Both are maxed out but I still wake up dry, sometimes with nosebleeds. Sidenote: this is my first airsense, I can't remember the name of the last one that I used, all I know is that it was recalled.

I am going to guess that you are seeing pressure changes either because you are using ramp or because your pressure settings are for a range, not a single pressure. Take look at the clinician's menu to check on this. To enter that menu, press the start button and the round button at the same time and hold them for a few seconds until the clinician option pops up on your screen. Then scroll up and click on it.

About your dryness: is it in your nose, your mouth, or both? What kind of mask do you use?

Could you provide information about your machine and mask in your profile? That way it'll be there whenever people read your posts.
