My CPAP therapy crashed

Post by DoktorSpengler » Sat Dec 16, 2023 11:08 am

Hello,

I have been struggling to adapt to CPAP for over a year. It often feels like my nose is 'stuffy' on CPAP and I can't relax.

I was just examined by an ENT surgeon. He put a camera-rod up my nose and said the air space is great. I had surgery for a deviated septum in 2016. So, my nose is NOT really stuffy. This is some kind of subjective sensation.

Recently, I got a full-head mask. This has been the best thing yet. I'm still not sleeping 8 hours a night with CPAP, but it went from ~4 to ~6.

But, this past week the CPAP abruptly became intolerable again. Totally cannot sleep with it on. Now, everything is falling apart in my life. I am not keeping up with chores and work is suffering.

Would anyone be able to comment if I posted OSCAR data from before and after I regressed to being CPAP intolerant.

Please go ahead and post one typical "before" chart and one typical "after" chart. No guarantees that they'll tell us what the current problem is, but it sure can't hurt to take a look.

Hello Emerita and all others,

Here is some CPAP from recent "Bad Sleep" and some CPAP data from last month "Better Sleep."

Please let me know if you would like more data - I just screen snipped a few data feeds that looked interesting.

(edit: it will not allow me to upload the images saying that my attachment quota has been reached, but I have not posted since last month!)

could you use another service? this one requires a sign in.

people have success with imgur.com, including myself. it's free. and doesn't require an outsider to log in.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
