Airsense mini 2 questions

I have an airsense mini and want to use my F&P SimPlus mask with it. I found an adapter that plugs into the mini but it seems to require some other hose to connect to the mask. Is there a "generic" hose? I've only ever used the hoses that came with my machines.

I've had a travel machine before (Z1) and it dried out my mouth. The mini seems to be much worse at this. Any advice as to how to alleviate this? Is there a better humidifier solution that the HUmidX?
