Hi everybody
I started using a CPAP machine 9/19 and have been using it faithfully each night. I’m interested in learning more so I downloaded OSCAR as many people here recommended. Last night was thd first time I had a SD card in my machine it’s a 16mg. Do I need to take the card out and download the info every day of could I wait a few days to do so? I work 12+ hrs some days and am limited for time. I figured a large enough SD card could handle at least a week of info, yet I’m hesitant to try it as I may loose info which is the reason for all of this.
Thank you for any help in advance.

Re: Oscar - SD card capacity
Did you mean GB????
If so, 16 GB is plenty of room for years and years worth of data.
In reality 2 or 4 GB is plenty as well but those smaller cards are getting hard to find and real pricey when you do find them.
Download as often as you wish or not as often if you wish.
I downloaded the other day and it had been 7 weeks since my last download..

Re: Oscar - SD card capacity
Thank you so much - yes I mean 16GB LOL. I need my head clear when I start to look at all the info I'll be downloading. I have OCD, PTSD and anxiety so it takes a lot of effort to keep going with so many "moving pieces" in the way of options, choices, methods, etc. Just choosing a few pillows to try out each night has been hard. I do feel I'm making steps in the right direction though. I am someone who likes to educate myself about my health and choose to understand my treatments, whereas it seems to be a rather minimal effort put forth by my sleep study staff and medical supply RT that has me concerned. I also have to be careful and not spin out of control or dig too deep down that rabbit hole as I'm struggling to learn more about my condition and what other people have learned that best helps them. Knowing that I can take my time to download it all, let's me breathe and relax for a bit.
Thank you for your quick response.

Re: Oscar - SD card capacity
BTW.....I see you chose a humidifier as separate choice but you chose the H4 and that is incorrect. That won't work with your machine. I would leave that blank because your machine choice already includes the humidifier that works with your machine.
Take your time when trying to educate yourself....Rome wasn't built in a day.
Start with the basics and when you have a good grasp on that stuff then you can dig deeper into your reports.
Where in Missouri are you located?

Re: Oscar - SD card capacity
I'm in SW Missouri - Springfield Area.
Thanks for the comment about Humidifier - it did come with one, I wanted to be thorough in what equipment/supplies I currently use.
Another question -
Today's (overnight sleep from 2/16) data didn't show up on MyAir app. I unplugged the machine for few minutes, plugged it back in and it took couple of hours for it to show up on my app, at least it did show up (is this normal, to need to unplug so as to reboot the machine/app?) in the meantime I was going to download my SD card in case the app never showed my data from 2/16, yet the light kept blinking as if it the card was still downloading - I read not to take out the card until the blinking has stopped. It has been 6 hours and the blinking is ongoing. Have I lost the info previously stored on the SD card? Why is it taking so long for it all to download to the card?

Re: Oscar - SD card capacity
No...that's not normal operating procedure at all. You shouldn't need to do that to get the machine to transmit to MyAir.
Now there are well known problems with the machine transmitting to MyAir or probably the problem is more on the MyAir website end of things with getting it to update the information. Sometimes it takes days for MyAir to update.
I don't know what you are talking about. What light is blinking?
No...you can't lose any data stored on the SD card unless you erase the data files.
So no worries there.
Welcome....I am just west of you in the Mount Vernon area.

The amber light beside the SD card in my AirSense 10 machine. The manual stated if this light is blinking to not eject your SD card for it is downloading

There's a light there???? I never noticed or paid any attention.

Too late now to go check it out. Hubby already in bed but tomorrow I will check it out.
At any rate I don't think that it should be taking hours to write to or read that SD card.
Maybe a minute or so tops.
