Keep in mind that Medicares open enrollment begins Oct15. 10 more days to research it.

Choose a plan that will Co-pay anything that Medicare covers and you will never have a bill after your 1st month or so. AND can see a whole new world of Drs.

The bullfrog and I HAD just such a supplement--Aetna plan F.
The premiums went up EVERY year!
Over 10 years, their payments only came close to the premium on two months.
The rest of the time, my benefit was less than a quarter of the premium.
The bullfrog's benefit was closer to a TENTH of the premium.
Money down the drain.
Commercial insurance is a SCAM.
Medicare is a bargain!
If the expense side were more transparent, we could have saved the cost of a HOUSE.
USE SHIP.

Sure hope the strike doesn't make it any more difficult choosing a cpap mask from Kaiser.

How does "impossible" sound?

Chunkyfrog…have you and your bullfrog looked in a Plan G? I have a birthday coming up and spoke with my new Medicare insurance agent yesterday. My Plan F is $245/mo. And the new Plan G is $172. The only difference when I was researching is I have to come up with the Part B deductible which is no problemo.
Machine: ResMed AS10 for Her w/Humdifier & ClimateLine Hose
Settings: Fixed at 8 cm H2O, EPR 1
Mask: ResMed N30i
Other: Kinesiology Tape

Thank you, but it was considered.
We did the math.
For us, the out of pockets would be way less than the premiums.
Full transparency BEFOREHAND does not exist--and we deserve better.
