Unable to import data

Post by coolwater » Tue Jul 25, 2023 3:22 pm

Hi,

I've bought myself an APAP machine (Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset) without a doctors prescription. I used it for the first time last night for a few hours only. I couldn't sleep so took it off.

I want to analyse the data in oscar to see what happened. However, when I click 'import CPAP data', it find the SD card with the dated folders, but when I click on one of those folders eg last night, nothing happens, it just returns me to the welcome screen. I know the Resmed is compatible so not sure what it is. Any ideas on what I need to do? I'm on a mac if it helps.
Also, is there a good beginner resource for learning how to interpret the results?

Thanks all!

Read the first few posts in the OSCAR tutorial at the top of the index page of cpaptalk.com. Then post a Daily View and let members help you.

"https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.p ... first_time"

Thing is I've done this including made sure accessories are always allowed and it still isn't working.

As before, I click on the folder that is named after the date and nothing happens. I can see there are files in the folder. I only had a few hours sleep on the machine- is there a minimum amount or something?

Enough hours, but something else may be amiss.
The sd card needs to be unlocked to accept data.
In the clinical menu, settings》》options》》essentials need to be set to PLUS.
The default is ON--(which is code for "dumb".)

Are you trying to import from a selected file/folder or the root drive where the SD card is sitting?

You have to choose the root drive and not specific folder.

Yep thanks for the pointer. I realised I was meant to click on the SD card, not the individual date folders. Apologies for my stupidity there.

Not stupid, not by a long shot.
You knew where to go for your answer.
Some are afraid to ask the question--choosing to remain ignorant, and stupid
We have seen enough of that already.
Welcome.
You are already doing quite fine.
