OT (very): What's going on at Twitter?

Post by lazarus » Wed Jul 26, 2023 5:02 pm

Top questions about Twitter changing its name to X:

Did Elon forget that X is best known as the universal symbol for "wrong"?

Or did he simply get confused interpreting a marketing report from his own research team comparing his brand to brand "x" and then think maybe the solution was to steal the other company's name and logo?

Will explicit content now be called "Twitter-rated," just to prevent future confusion?

Does Elon now own half of all future games of tic-tac-toe?

Will Elon now change his name to Malcom, or to Mulder?

Is this the very definition of "going off on a tangent"?

And the number one question:

Y?

These are the questions that keep me up at night. But I realize this post/thread is still very Off Topic.

Hey, at least I didn't start a thread about who slept better at night, Barbie or Oppie. (Didn't wanna lose my SAG card from Rubicon.)

Sometimes I admire the people here who already have me on their foe list so that they don't have to read this sort of stuff.
The people who confuse "entomology" and "etymology" really bug me beyond words.

Christopher Nolan mostly covered up what a madman Oppenheimer was, working among a slew of evil men. This just-release part one of a documentary begins to uncover it. It's well worth a 36-minute watch or read the transcript. It's best watched before you see the movie. But if you have already seen the movie, be sure to watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MokJgWqlar4

Top questions about Twitter changing its name to X:

well, i don't use twitter. i'm not being "holier than thou" it's just not something i've ever cared for.

the only time i see a tweet is when someone at another forum i frequent posts one, to start a conversation or to say "can you believe what this idiot has said?".

i don't mean that re: musk, just what "some idiot" has said on twitter.

otherwise, i have no connection with it.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

I will assume that is why it is in the process of failing itself out of existence.

I believe that which movies people see and in what order and then what conclusions they draw about them should be a simple matter of free choice.

Now that congress is apparently busy reviewing the X files on UFOs, I guess we just have to embrace the fact that the truth is out there. Waaay out there.

And full congrats on your progress, Froggy. Truly.

No no, that's what he's aiming for, like in X marks the spot (of wrong).

OP's 30 day average
1.62 Total AHI
0.04 Obstructive I
0.39 HI
1.19 CAI

1.19 divided by 1.62 times 100 = 73.4%

73.4 % of the OP's total AHI is attributed/assignable to Clear Airway Events

Suggests that going forward the OP ought consider concentrating on controlling Clear Airway Events.
(otherwise, the OP is doing great)

Twitter, and e.m. are, as always, inconsequential.
Inane in the brain.

And I'm offended that Family Feud is providing all that free advertisement after each wrong answer.

I have a feeling your generation will soon be sued and renamed in order to protect the X man's trademark anyway, so don't worry.

Although I could be wrong, according to the 100 people surveyed.

X!
