Taft or Garfield might have had apnea.
No cpap for them.

Biden’s February physical makes no mention of being under CPAP therapy.

Apparently the White House has confirmed that he started using CPAP in recent weeks. See, e.g., this:

It is estimated that only a FIFTH of apnea sufferers have been identified, and are being treated.
It is most certainly a public health crisis.
Increased awareness should encourage some of the 80% to get tested.
Our roads and workplaces could be a good deal safer than they are.

Joe could make CPAP cool.

Ok, maybe not.

Anything that puts PAP use in the news without negative spin has the potential to normalize it for patients on the fence by chipping away at the stigma shamelessly created by and exploited by the misleading yet pervasive ads for PAP alternatives.

And many might agree that it is generally a good thing for any dude with access to the football and the codes be sleeping well enough to be considered reasonably clear-headed.

Likely he is on CPAP and the WH would be correct, but there were a few suggestions in an online news public comments that he may have been on oxygen just prior to coming out to speak due to the strap marks on the side of his face which usually might go away on most people within an hour removing a CPAP mask in the morning (anyone here have indentations on their face that lasts well into the day?). The thought was he may be lacking oxygen at times and this may cause some lightheadness which has resulted in some falls he has had recently.

No need for a thick or tightened strap with stand-alone O2, since no pressure. And good boys and girls know to use PAP for their power naps right before public events, not just overnight.

Not that conspiracy theories have to make any logical sense to get traction these days.

Maybe there was a third machine behind the grassy knoll?

Alas, the "Inside Edition", broadcast spent more air time demonstrating the Inspire (surgical) product and no time on PAP. (Almost seemed like an Inspire advertisement).

My suspicious nature suggests that the the CPAP story is to promote the narrative: " See.... Biden is unhealthy, may drop dead any minute now"

I admit I may be a little jealous that my CPAP use hasn't made the papers.

Yet.

I'm still trying to figure out if there's any way I can get the Canadians to reimburse me for my recent room-air-purifier purchase.

Should I just send that bill to Julie?

Never mind. Back on topic. I promise.

Oh, yeah, and untreated OSA quite often contributes to ED.
ED is somewhat un-presidential, one would presume.
(((At least during the Clinton administration)))
