Disturbing question about Oscar ?

Post by Albatros » Tue Apr 25, 2023 1:51 am

I understood that EPAP = Min pressure - EPR.

And, most often, this translates well in OSCAR, where I find:
Min = 12 EPR = 2 and EPAP = 10
Two pressure curves

Perfect !

How, then, to explain that, quite often, Oscar gives me:

Min = 11 EPR = 2 and EPAP = 11 and not 9 ?
Only one pressure curve ?

Thanks

Post a graph where this is occurring.

Not with an auto machine.

EPAP = current pressure - EPR.

But that doesn't explain "one pressure line".

My fault !!!
I realized that, for one reason, when EPAP = Min Pressure with EPR = 2, was with EPR Ramp only .
I have to check on the machine why, sometimes, my EPR is for Ramp only.

Sometimes asking a question focuses your own mind, and answers happen.
:mrgreen:
I noticed this in high school; when a classmate wanted help with homework,
I would ask them to explain the problem to me.
Halfway through, they would go "Aha! . . . " and they figured it out!
