It used to be said that Indica (InDaCouch) was for helping with sleep and Sativa (Festiva) was for partying. Nowadays with hybrids that is much less true.
I suggest asking for Indica gummies at 5mg (or a 10mg gummy but only eat half to start). Usually you get either 20x5mg or 10x10mg gummies.
For those not in a State where it is not legal, CBD is almost as good for sleep. Delta-8/Delta-9 are best, but either can do the trick to help with
relaxing to sleep.
Slam me if you must but at 65 and someone who’s done it off and on for 40 years…I don’t buy the sativia or indica anymore. It’s really hybrid and I also use live resin on occasion in a vape that occasionally is more uplifting day than veg but that is rare. I do have a tiny bit of CO2 left in a syringe from when I was at this home in the spring and I’ll eat it tonight to see if there’s a big difference in AHI.
Overdosing with gummies is real, so give it about 2 hours after eating one before considering taking another.

Yeah…my wife never did but every few years. Last time she kept waking up and asking me if I’m going to kill her so…I’ll let her have her wine on occasion when we party.lynninnj wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 2:46 pmI use an excellent company called Sunsoil for cbd. They have gelcaps which require no fridge or measuring. A buck apiece and you can get 30 to try and not put out bigtime funds. https://www.sunsoil.com/products/cbd-softgels-90ct
I used to dabble back in the day. I don’t anymore. Not since the time a friend of mine gave me some prescription strength smokable’s. One hit and I don’t know if I was having a panic attack or what, but my heart was racing it 220bpm. Never again.

Re: Without Cannabis my AHI Went Up!!
Listening to a bit of "Doctor Radio" in the car on Sirius XM today, the guest was talking about adverse interactions between cannabinoids and prescribed medications. He said there is a list of over 500 and suggested anyone interested in using cannabinoids look up other drugs they are taking to make sure that the risks are identified. There have been some cases of dangerous interactions, but I wasn't listening long enough to hear his examples. Supposedly a pharmacist will tell you about possible interactions between your prescribed meds, but they cannot advise you on cannabinoids.
OP had several changes at once: environment, addition of Ozempic, and reduction of cannabinoid dosage. Was there a time change too? It's hard to say which of those individually or in combination might have affected apnea. I was recently traveling, and just the different environment, change in time zone and activity level (plus high altitude) caused my AHI to go up during the trip.

Good point!
This study listed 139 prescription drugs that may be affected by cannabinoids. This list was further narrowed to 57 drugs, for which altered concentration can be dangerous. Also, many drugs have yet to be tested. Here is the study ----> https://www.karger.com/Article/FullText/507998
Note that tobacco smoke can also affect some prescription drugs.

Do you mean the injections helped resolve water retention problems?
I have relatives with edema, so I am interested in possible solutions.
Thank you.

Sorry for the delay all. We went to an outdoor concert with a couple when in Florida and the husband is an endocrinologist. He said the weight loss reduced pressure on the arteries and veins in the stomach and being in Florida…more active. That combo did it.GrumpyHere wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 8:56 pmDo you mean the injections helped resolve water retention problems?

When I got back to the mid Atlantic I bought some “activated” THC in a “dablicator”. Within three nights my AHI was back below one. It went to 1.9, 1.1 and last night it was .9. I know it wasn’t the bed because we were home a few nights before I took it at bedtime and my AHI only came down marginally.
