Our doctors' office had many patients originally put on capsaicin for pain, but who could not tolerate the effects of it and so stopped using it.

Mansplaining?
Kinda hard for someone who isn't a man to mansplain things.
It's not a problem at all for non-men to mansplain, non-men do it *all the time*.

It's just only a problem when men do it.

Not everyone can take capsaicin externally.
After the sting, the itching is so bad, I have to wash it off.
Knowing that, I limit internal use to light culinary application,
or skip it entirely. The bullfrog claims he's allergic.
Even skipping the cayenne, the honey and lemon juice mixture works really nicely. (Obviously only if you're not allergic to either honey or lemons, of course.)
I got your point Katt. Great suggestions!

I would leave the cayenne out as well.

I tried lowering my starting pressure the past two nights. Wednesday night, I lasted about 3 hours and started coughing so bad I gave up, but last night, I was finally able to go back to my Bleep mask and made it through the whole night with minimal coughing! And an AHI of 1.03. Also, finally fever-free since yesterday, so I am feeling MUCH better, although still tire easily. Thank you for the suggestion!

Or you could just take what I said as it was intended. That is, as trying to be helpful while accounting for not everyone having the same vocabulary, particularly since we have at least one person just in the past week whose native language isn't English, and who indicated that they have trouble with English sometimes.

I was not trying to be SNARKY, or anything other than making a joke about the gender the "splaining" part
