Air 11s actually do OTA updates

My ResMed Airsense 11 did an automatic upgrade

Have any of you ResMed 11 owners gotten an automatic upgrade? A message came on the screen that an upgrade was happening.

Air 10 devices *had* the capability to update automatically OTA, but it was only used once to address a heated humidifier problem, about 7 years ago. Practically, it's best to just assume Air 10s were just not firmware upgradable.

Definitely some positives to have the ability to update firmware, but many won't like the requirement to remain connected, nor for ResMed to control the updating without announcements or changelogs.

Where can you see the firmware version of your AirSense 11?

Page 2 of the AirSense 11 manual states it will automatically and periodically download updates and upgrades to the the software by means of Bluetooth, WiFi, and/or cellular networks.
On the Home screen go to +More then to "About" on your touch screen. Mine shows SW 04600.05.5.0.1. When you check let me know if you see the same. There is also a CF number, not sure what that is.

Yes, that is what I have but I haven't noticed the notification received by the users on Redditt.

Push notifications and upgrades don't happen to everyone at the same time. Doing so, overwhelms networks and servers. Upgrades like this are spread over a timeframe.

There could be other influences such as current firmware, model, location,...

Someone on the apneaboard forum posted a picture of his screen with the updated sw version.

I'm not great with reddit so I couldn't find the picture. I don't see a date on the reddit posts, just 1 day ago... I just got my machine so I guess it's already got the latest software.

I got my AS11 on 5/3/22. Just checked my SW version is 04600.06.5.1.0 , CF is 04600.06.03.00. Don't know if and when it updated as I was away last night and used my AirMini , flawlessy. Both are great machines.
