I’m at a loss. I’ve been on CPAP for almost a year and a half, and I don’t feel any better than I did before I started “therapy,” if anything, maybe worse. I NEVER wake up feeling rested. Always tired, always sleepy. I’ve started thinking I’ll be feeling this way permanently. I thought CPAP was supposed to take care of all that. I would think if CPAP were going to work, it would have by now. Maybe it doesn’t work for everyone?
I’ve done everything I know to do. I go to bed at the same time every night, I have no trouble falling asleep, and I usually sleep an uninterrupted seven to seven-and-a-half hours. I change my CPAP gear as needed. I’ve started using a chinstrap to hold my mouth closed at night, which has been a great help with my air leakage issue, I’ve even had my pressure increased, but yet I still don’t wake up feeling rested. I’m still tired, sleepy, and doze off during the day. I've tried Sunosi, but that didn't work. Maybe try another medication? What’s up with this? Is there something I’m missing?

First of all, read the posts in the announcement section on the main page, then download the OSCAR software.
Then download the OSCAR software, and post screenshots, so that others can help you to better understand what is going on, and they can answer your questions.

Yes.
You are making the assumption that Sleep Apnea was the only cause of your not sleeping/feeling well.
You have Sleep Apnea, this has been harming your body. You addressed (I assume) it. You are no longer harming your body and presumably your body is heeling.
Explore other causes of not getting restful sleep.

Re: At A Loss
Two good responses here, Sleepy in CT. If you have a laptop or desktop computer, I'd suggest you first go the Oscar route so we can all see what's going on in your apnea therapy. There could be something there that would explain your continued tiredness.
If there isn't, then it would make sense to talk with your doctor about other possible causes, of which there are many. When the only presenting symptom is tiredness/sleepiness/fatigue, diagnosis can be difficult. But your doctor might want to do some tests to rule out, e.g., thyroid problems, autoimmune diseases, Lyme disease, and low testosterone if you're a man.
But again, the Oscar route is the one to try first, I think. It's quick and easy and completely under your control.

Re: At A Loss
Have a comprehensive blood draw done and study the results for which categories are in-range and which ones are out-of-range and that may give you (and your doctor) some clues.
