Post by SNORENOMORE2 » Sun Jan 21, 2007 7:04 am

Good morning all, hope all are doing well. Does anyone have a good source for a good card reader and software for my set up.I've seen readers available, but without software offered. What's the point of owning a reader and not being able to use with ones computer. Also I just ordered a Pad-A-Cheek covering for my Comfortlite II,have read some good things regarding these item, thanks for the input.Everyone have a good day

According to your profile, you have an M-series Respironics CPAP. The only software which works with this machine is the Encore Pro software, and the only reader which work with this software is the DT-3500 (and it's serial bus cousin, the DT-3000).

So, your choices come down to whether you want to buy the software and card reader separately. Your profile indicates that you already have the software, so I suggest buying the card reader from the cheapest source. The cheapest place, by far, to buy the DT-3500 is at twofactors.com. Just be sure to use Internet Explorer when ordering, otherwise you will not be able to place the order.

Regards,
Bill

First, you're gonna love the padacheeks! I think it helps the headgear from sliding around too much and makes it much more comfortable.
Second, I got the reader and software from our host, cpap.com but you can get the reader cheaper from 2factors.com. It's the infineer card reader(DT3500), but do a search on it here first, there is a problem with the software that comes with the reader. I think you need to use the drivers from the 2 factors website instead.

You are showing you have the software, but I suspect you only have the card which, isn't software.(A slightly mis-leading graphic) The software at cpap.com is about $100. (order filters or something to get free shipping) The two Factors card reader (DT3500) costs $30.40. or they can be bought bundled from cpap.com. Jim
