BLEEP People: What are your Airsense 11 Humidifier and Tube settings in Spring/Summer?

I'm struggling to find settings that get me through the night without ripping my port out in my sleep. I've been doing 86 heat, 1 humidity through the winter and it largely was fine. Now I'm getting stuffed up I guess and can't stop subconsciously taking my bleep off.

Do I need to increase humidity and lower tube temp? Keep humidity the same and lower tube temp? I'm getting desperate.

Are you sure it's CPAP settings and not spring allergies?

You will have to experiment. Settings used by other people are not necessarily appropriate for you.

Do be aware that higher humidity settings cause congestion in some CPAPers.

Thanks. I’ll start Flonase tonight even though I don’t suffer from daytime allergies.

This, of course, is a low humidity setting. If you are fine with this low setting in the winter, maybe you need no humidity in the spring and summer. This is not unusual. Many, including myself, use no humidity year-round. You have to experiment to know what works for you.

Even if you don't have allergies, Flonase can reduce inflammation in the nasal passages. It may take a few days before the effect kicks in. I would suggest you use it in the morning instead of the evening.

I’ll try no humidity. Why take it in the morning?

I use bleep too and love it. I am one who needs humidity all the time or I get dried out and more congested. Besides the humidity from my pap machine, I run a room humidifier every night. It's a very individual thing, so try what makes sense to you and if that doesn't work, go the other way. I also use Flonase every night right before bed. My doctor told me that's the best time to use it, as it stays in contact with the nasal tissues for a longer time, and one can get more benefit from it.
